The pursuit to understand reality is a common quest. The human race has tried to understand the world and beyond since the beginning of its history. We have envisioned different scenarios over the years past. Have we come far enough? We can be proud of our achievements. But amazingly, new and very interesting windows have been opened in front of our eyes. The new frontiers are very unfamiliar and not comprehensible to our traditional understanding. 

Quantum super position of states,⁽¹⁾ Heisenberg uncertainty principle, quantum entanglement, and other features of the sub-atomic arena introduced an indeterministic interpretation for reality. Nothing is clear-cut anymore. No more black and white definitions. This has left objective physicists on unease. Numerous attempts, such as Bell's Theorem, have failed to extend the rules of classical physics to the quantum arena. Einstein's relativity theories rule out the objective and classical universe that we are so much acquainted with. Introducing the non-zero cosmological constant added to the puzzle even more.

The unexplained left physics an open system. Efforts have been directed to finding explanations for strange phenomena that have become apparent to us in the last century. In order to have a closed system, we need to explore new ways to extend the physical knowledge to interpret the unexplained. To this end, many believe, that we have to introduce a scientific definition for consciousness and incorporate it in the equation. Currently, many efforts are being directed towards this aspiration. New theories such as Quantum Brain Dynamics and Holonomic Brain theory are being developed to solve this main puzzle of twenty first century.

Unfortunately, so far the mainstream physics and the empirical science in general chose to avoid the notion of consciousness as a fundamental element. In this book, I present an alternative model, where consciousness is integrated as a fundamental pillar of existence. Since this model utilizes common sense derived from our conscious awareness, it offers a comprehensible definition for reality. The portrayed picture is not deterministic as expected by classical level of reality, but it is intelligible.

Experiments unveil many findings that are not explainable within the context of classical physics.  It seems that we cannot confine ourselves within classical level and space-time domain if we are to find solutions for the existing paradoxes. In order to find rationalization for the bizarre findings, throughout this book, I will venture out and explore the possibility of the existence of a realm beyond space-time.
Does this mean to accept the god of the old establishments? Not necessarily.  It is understandable if scientists try to avoid theological approach to reality. This kind of approach is not scientific or logical. But avoiding a big portion of our findings, just because we are afraid that it may be interpreted as metaphysics, is not acceptable either. Many findings are pointing towards a non-classical realm. A realm beyond objective reality. Surprisingly, most of new physical theories are explained in a space-time setting. I do not understand how developing theories, which include out of space-time domain, can disprove science. Are we scared of unknown just like fifteenth century priests? Are we hiding in our caves? I believe, understanding the expanse beyond our space-time is attainable and it does not mean to even get close to old fashioned faiths with their flaws and shortcomings.

This view not only can offer solutions for a number of unexplained paradoxes in physics, it also has the potential to shed light onto many mysteries like consciousness, psychology and parapsychologic phenomena. In addition by reviewing consciousness I hope to come to a new understanding about the nature of spirituality. Maybe if we release spirituality from old frames, and define it according to today’s knowledge, it can play an important role in evolution of the human race.
This model has the potential to alter the way that we think and the way that we live.
